Support Ukraine London EuroMaidan is a volunteer-led initiative supporting Ukraine through critical aid, fundraising, advocacy, public action and community support. London EuroMaidan has been active since 2014. Support Ukraine Ltd is the legal structure supporting this work and operates this website.
For the purposes of UK data protection law, Support Ukraine Ltd is responsible for personal information collected directly through this website and through our organisational activities where we determine how and why that information is used.

Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with us. It may include your name, email address, telephone number, social media contact details and the content of messages you send to us.
If you volunteer, partner with us or take part in an activity, we may also collect information that is reasonably necessary to organise that relationship or event, such as availability, areas of interest, skills, role information and relevant logistical details.
When you use the website, limited technical information may be processed for security and basic website operation, such as IP address, browser type, device information and access logs. We do not intentionally ask website visitors to provide sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary for a specific purpose.

Donations and payments
Donations made from this website are processed through third-party payment or fundraising platforms, including Stripe and Patreon where those options are offered. Payment details such as full card numbers are entered directly with the relevant provider and are not stored by this website.
We may receive limited information from a payment provider, such as your name, contact details, donation amount, transaction reference and payment status, where this is necessary for fundraising administration, donor support, accounting, fraud prevention or legal compliance.
Each payment provider handles information under its own privacy terms and security arrangements.
Volunteers, partners and enquiries
If you contact us by email, telephone or social media, we use the information you provide to deal with your enquiry and, where appropriate, to manage an ongoing relationship with you.
Volunteer applications may be submitted through Google Forms or another form service linked from this website. Information submitted through those services is also processed by the relevant platform in accordance with its own privacy terms.
If you contact us about partnership, sponsorship or collaboration, we may retain your professional contact details and correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to manage that relationship and related records.
Events, photographs and media
Our work includes rallies, community events, fundraising events and public actions. Photographs and video may be taken to document our activities, report on our work, support advocacy and fundraising, and maintain an organisational archive.
We take particular care where images focus on identifiable individuals rather than the event generally, and where children or vulnerable people may be involved. Where consent is required or appropriate, we will seek it. If you have a concern about an image of you published by us, contact enquiries@supportukraine.uk and we will review the request.
Cookies and website technology
The current website is designed to operate without advertising cookies. Basic technical storage may still be used where necessary for website functionality, security or preferences.
If we introduce analytics, embedded services or other non-essential technologies that require consent, we will update this policy and provide appropriate cookie information and controls before using them where required by law.
Third-party services and external links
Our website links to services operated by other organisations, including Google, Stripe, Patreon, Instagram and Facebook. When you follow an external link, that provider may collect information about you under its own privacy policy.

Who we share information with and international transfers
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate our website, communications, volunteer administration, payments, events, fundraising, storage or other organisational functions, and with professional advisers or public authorities where required by law.
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we expect the relevant provider or arrangement to use an appropriate legal transfer mechanism.
How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including to maintain appropriate operational, safeguarding, financial and legal records.
Enquiry, volunteer and partner information is reviewed according to the continuing relationship and operational need. Donation and accounting records may be kept for the period required by applicable legal and financial obligations. Event photographs and organisational records may be retained as part of our historical and public-interest archive where there is a legitimate reason to do so.
When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymise or securely archive it as appropriate.
Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances and the lawful basis we rely on, you may have rights to request access to your personal information, ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information, request deletion, request restriction of processing, object to certain processing, and receive certain information in a portable format.
If we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Exercising a right does not normally involve a fee, although legal exceptions may apply.

Security and children
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. No online system is completely risk-free, so we also limit access to personal information to people who reasonably need it for their role.
Our website is not designed to collect personal information from children without an appropriate reason. Where an activity involves children, we take additional care and seek parent or guardian involvement where required.
